Why Coaching?

Have you ever wanted to ‘be better’ in your personal or academic life? Maybe you wanted to be more confident or be able to find a way to study better. Surely, you will get many opportunities to build confidence while you are giving presentation in front of the class. But what if there was a way to accelerate that process?

Do you know who the person on the right is (red jacket)? His name is Bob Bowman. Probably not the most common name known in the world. But if I asked you if you knew the name of the olympic athlete with the most Gold medals ever, who would you say? Michael Phelps, of course! On his own, I am sure Michael Phelps is an incredible swimmer and can beat nearly anyone in a body of water. However, in order for him to (arguably) be the best athlete in the world to win a total of 28 Olympic medals (the most ever), he needed someone to help him be the best that he could be.

In the world of athleticism, nearly every successful athlete has a coach, someone who is responsible for training athletes and assisting them in developing their full potential. While athletics coaches can help you be the best athlete you can be, we at CoachYou want to help you be the best person you can be.

How Does It Work?

Sports coaches train their athletes in many ways. For example, a futsal coach that wants to help their player be more agile may train them by pushing them to run and do speed drills. A tennis coach that wants to help their player have a precise forehand may coach them by practicing the hit over and over again. So how do we at CoachYou help you to be better version of you? Do we tell you to do twenty pushups every morning? Do we make you run 5 kilometers before we start a session? Most likely not.

Since we want to help you on behavior transformation rather than physical ones, our coaching sessions will help you identify in what ways to help you develop into better version of yourself. Two of our main coaching formats, individual coaching and group coaching, are great ways that will help you to discover how you can design an action plan to help you achieve the growth that you are looking for.

We would be no different than any school teacher if we were just to give you an assignment and expect you to figure it out yourself. As a coach, our purpose is to be your partner in your journey. One of the greatest benefits of the coaching process is that we will not only help you create a plan to help you reach your goals but we will offer you the support and motivation that you may need to give you that extra push when you need it. Let’s be honest. We can all say that we will start ‘eating healthy tomorrow.’ However, without an actual plan and a person to keep you accountable, you will more likely fail to keep eating healthy. The idea here is to help you experience changes that will be sustainable and long lasting, not momentary and forgotten by next week. That is why there is so much to this program. Our coaching programs usually last anywhere from three to six months with meetings every two to three weeks. We assure you that you will experience a significant change by the end of any of our coaching programs.
